an excrutiating day

I went in for my beta this morning.

And I've waited all day for the phone call.

I missed it. I was finishing a meeting and didn't hear my phone vibrate. Left a message. Said they would call back soon.

I can't make myself say the words, but I don't think it's good news. Just a feeling.

This is excruciating. Beyond.
